I am filled with joy to announce that on behalf of my family and the Nutley Rotary Club our benefit concert on April 6th raised $8,000 for Nutley High-School’s own Nelson Matos!
I am thankful for everyone in the Nutley community who stepped up to support one of Nutley’s very own on April 6th. On behalf of the Nutley Rotary Club and the Sebek Family, we couldn’t be happier with the community support we received during the months leading up to and weeks after the concert! This Wednesday 5/15 the Nutley Rotary Club will be announcing and presenting the grand total to Nelson and his family so stay tuned. Thank you to everyone who assisted in making the evening special!

The Board of Education, Superintendent Kent Bania, and Principal Dennis Williams for providing the NHS Auditorium and Transportation for Nelson. Mr. Vicchiariello for all the hours he put in planning and coordinating everything day of! To Sideways Triangle Productions who provided the photography, live streaming and videography from the event! Franklin Reform Church for allowing us to use their space for rehearsals. The Nutley Theatrical Society for organizational support of the event and assisting with ticket sales during NHS performances. The Nutley Police and Fire Department who donated time and resources to protect those at the event!
