The Sebek Tenors are a trio consisting of a father and his sons who deliver a distinct mix of musical genres. Their repertoire ranges from Opera to Broadway and includes original arrangements, all aimed at raising funds for charitable causes such as Ukraine and children battling cancer. While each member has achieved success individually in the performing arts, together as a trio, they combine their familial voices to bring joy to audiences and champion causes close to their hearts.
Zachary Šebek graduated from the Mannes School of Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance. Zachary had a music career as an Opera Singer who traveled and sang for high-level clientele; having performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall and in different festivals throughout Italy and Canada. Zachary is a Realtor-Associate® at Christie’s International Real Estate Group specializing in residential real estate in Northern New Jersey. In 2021, 2022, & 2023 Zachary was awarded with the NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence Sales Award. Passionate about giving back to his community, Zachary puts together concerts and events for foundations and organizations so that his voice can impact others! Over the past few years Zachary and his family have raised tens of thousands of dollars through these concerts! Zachary continues to support his community through sponsoring and hosting events to help those in need!
Eric Šebek is a graduate from Montclair State University with a BFA in Music Theatre. Eric has played the role of Patrick professionally in the The Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes in their 2016-2017 and 2019-2020 seasons. At MSU he has played Cigar in the New Musical: The Names We Gave Him, Fleet in Titanic, and Musidorus in Head Over Heels. Eric has performed in some notable New York City venues such as Carnegie Hall, Don’t Tell Mamas, Broadway Sessions, and most recently 54 Below. Local Nutley, NJ folk may remember him from NHS producvtionswwhen he played Pippin as well as Jack Kelly in Newsies. In competitions he has won 1st place in the Classical Singer Music Theatre division and 3rd place in NATS. This past year Eric made his Operatic debut as Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi at MSU and professionally. Over the summer, at The Quisisana Resort, Eric continued with his Operatic pursuits playing Tamino in The Magic Flute: “IN SPACE” and Gastone in La Traviata. Eric is now looking forward to playing Cat in the Hat in Seussical in the coming 2 weekends of October!
Christian Šebek (Faculty Concordia College/IVAI NYC/Savannah Voice Festival/Co-founder AB Studios-Shanghai) is a successful performer and voice teacher in New York City and New Jersey. He has performed from Opera to Broadway, Off-Broadway, television, film and international concert halls. Most noticeably, he performed as Ubaldo Piangi in The Phantom of the Opera over 1600 times. He portrayed the lead role of Nathanael in Thomas Cabaniss’s Off-Broadway contemporary opera, The Sandman. He performed in Andrew Miller’s The Birth of Christ performed for Pope Benedict and the Vatican starring Jim Caviezel, Michael York, and Lou Gossett Jr. Jingles Artist and on Comedy Central, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Lesser Prophets with John Turturro, Scott Glen, and Elizabeth Perkins. He was the vocal director for Harlem Aria, starring Damon Wayans, Paul Sorvino and Christian Carmargo. His opera highlights include: Rodolfo in La Bohème, Manrico in Il Trovatore, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Radames in Aida, Calaf in Turandot, Otello, Samson, Luigi in Il Tabarro, Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly, Canio in I Pagliacci and many more. He was the General Director of Stern’s World Music Record Label/Latin Billboard Top Ten-Africando 1992-2008, and the Artistic Administrator of Chautauqua Opera in 2001/2002.
