The Nutley Farmers Market is always a Sunday 'Best Bet,' with food, drink, and merchandise. This week, we share Nutley Real Estate Expert Zach Sebek's best bets at the market.
Coffee. The first thing Sebek told TAPinto Nutley when discussing his best bets was the coffee. Cozz Coffee and their Citroen-inspired coffee truck is a fixture at the Nutley Farmers Market. In addition to hot coffee, Zach pointed out that Coxx Coffee also sells cold-brew coffee in cans. They are ideal to take home and stash in the refrigerator.
What pairs better with coffee than Pain au Chocolat? Sebek loves the pastry from Saya Bakery.
Sebek is nuts for Neshanic Valley Beekeepers. The honey varietals are fantastic. Until you've done tasting, most people will not realize the difference between honeys. That's due to the fact that most commercial honey in the supermarket is a blend of honey from various plant sources around the world. At Neshanic, much of the honey is single origin - from hives that are located in fields and orchards when particular flowers are in bloom.
Sebek's favorite? He loves the wet walnuts that are sold in jars of honey. He told TAPinto Nutley that he likes to eat the honey-walnuts right out of the jar. They are also terrific on oatmeal or yogurt.
Asprocolas Acres, farmer George and his team, is Sebek's go-to-source for Asparagus. George has been a staple at the Nutley Farmers Market for years.
